I have always had an interest in a wide variety of health topics. In 2004 I graduated from AKS Massage School in Herndon,VA and embarked on my journey of helping others heal, relax, renew through massage therapy. My massage therapy practice is part time and allows me to help others in a hands on way that balances my full time gig as a voice “under the headset” aka night shift 911 dispatcher.
I focus strictly on therapeutic massage with an emphasis on deep tissue techniques to help clients relax, improve circulation, heal and reduce stress. Additionally, I have special certifications and interest in working with the elderly or ill using different, gentler techniques inspired by Comfort Touch. I understand that the body and mind are intimately linked and can help our immune systems with healing.

In my “day job” I am a 911 dispatcher. This has led me to a special appreciation of how stress can impact our mind, bodies and relationships. It is truly rewarding working with those in high stress occupations. I provide a 10% discount to anyone with a public safety, military, teacher or nursing ID. It is also my privilege to work with the ill or elderly. In today’s world we are all in need of a gentle, reassuring touch to make us feel relaxed, well and valued.
I use a variety of techniques to include Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy and other techniques when required. I can also employ modalities involving lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage or ComfortTouch techniques. You may choose to enhance your massage therapy session with a variety of DoTerra essential oils.
